These are only recommended for those businesses, which require greater control and security as the cost is really high.
- Cloud Hosting: The latest fad is cloud hosting. A team of servers is called a cloud, which works together and hosts a group of websites. This is best when it comes to handling traffic spikes or even high traffic days. As multiple computers work together, during traffic spikes, they can handle a particular website very efficiently. It is also costly and the major drawback here is that mostly they do not give root access.
So, these are all the four types of hosting servers, which are actually the storage centres for your website. Depending upon the storage capacity, control, technical know-how, server speed and reliability and cost, you need to decide which suits you the best.
